V-KILL (Verticillium lacanii)
V-KILL is a biological insecticide. The technical name is Verticillium lacanii. Verticillium is a naturally occurring entamopathogenic fungi, which causes disease known as the white muscadine disease in insects. The fungus does not infect humans and other animals and is considered as an insecticide. These formulations are specifically manufactured to enhance the insecticidal activity and biological stability.

Mode of action - uptake of nutrients
When the spores of the fungus come in contact with the cuticle (skin) of the susceptible insects, they germinate and grow directly through the cuticle into the inner body of the host. The fungus proliferates throughout the body, producing toxins and draining the insect of nutrients eventually killing it.
